Been-The Travel App
Been App-US map
During this pandemic, I have been enjoying a number of photography webinars. One of Tim Grey's workshops introduced me to the app Been! If you are not familiar with Been, it is an app that tracks the countries and US states that you have visited.
Mom would have loved this app! 'Can you travel to all 50 states?' was a Curtin family game. Of course, there were rules for what qualified for a visit-all of this well before apps became apart of our everyday life!
If you didn't know Barb Curtin-she loved to travel! Not only did she 'win' at the 50 state game, but her passport(s) were impressive-Europe, South America, Africa, Russia and China!! She truly enjoyed exploring new locations and learning about the people and cultures.
Thanks Mom for passing on the love of travel! Every time I look at my Been app, I think of you!
Website-A Work in Progress
And what did you do during the Covid 19 'Stay-at-Home' orders? My activities included:
- working in the backyard
- going on plenty of walks
- building a website!
I had told myself a new photography website would be a 'retirement project'. Well returning home from Japan about a week before the 'stay-at-home' orders went into place was perfect! Plenty of time on my hands and no traveling!
So here it is...it is a work in progress! I will be adding more portfolios (and blog posts) as I finish reviewing images. Enjoy and please share your thoughts and suggestions!
